thats more than acceptable imo. these exotic cars are babied all thier lives by many of you, and my question is why? if i had the money and so chose to buy one of these cars, i would beat the piss out of it, because it was built to drive fast. there is no point in buying a car like that if you're not gonna beat on it. all those cars are JUST CARS, nothing more, nothing less, they may be highly tuned expensive cars, but they are still cars, and should be treated as such.

If its your car you can do with it as you please, but to my sensibility that kind of driving is just stupid, to say nothing of expensive. Just my 02 cents.

yeah, when a car becomes like a family member sometimes its better not to know about the new owners habits.....

    Its acceptable to the owners.

Some people think far worse of garage queens. Think about it.

Don't get me wrong... there's a wide, wide margin between keeping a garage queen and abusing an automobile.

I prefer to stay closer to the middle area of that margin - the area in which the car is enjoyed (sometimes spiritedly) without becoming destructive of it...

    But to each their own.

It's not how I would like to see my own property treated, if it were mine, nor how I would treat it myself.

Big deal...you got the money..drive the thing until it breaks, fix it and then break it again..repeat..What fun is a half million dollar car if you are to chicken to do a couple of doughnuts?

One is destructive to the whole drive train and the tires will be crack before they're used up, if not original.

The other is destructive to tires.

I guess the margin is pretty wide! ;)

Please post Vin Numbers so that when they are advertised as a well maintained and only driven on weekend car we can at least have a small clue as to the beast behind the wheel

I think it's good that things are reposted. Sometimes I don't get on here for a few weeks at a time and miss stuff. It's also good for people who are new to the board. Why would anyone do a search on abusing exotics?

its acceptable to me. ya its not the smartest thing to do (not the smartest place to do it either), but hey its not testing the durability of a brick wall to see what happens when a Ferrari crashes into it at 150 mph. car washes are in business for a reason, to wash cars, even if its after a car starts his donut in the dirt. little gravel dents can be repaired.

basically, they didnt injure the car too badly, exterior or interior.

i bet the same people lamenting this video, if given the chance to sleep with a model or some other very beautiful woman, would probably make love to her slow and steady...

    which is, quite frankly, ass-backwards.
