Is this an updated intake bellows?

I ordered a replacement intake bellows from the dealer (already tried Ricambi America – none available) and they sent me this shorter hose. I’ve got a ’79 308 GTB – carb. and this is the connection from the body intake and the horn of the air cleaner. I’d normally see if it looks like it would work, but I have all of those parts out right now.

The old bellows was always a pain to install so this may be easier, but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this? Maybe it is for another model?

Old hose is about 1 to 1.5 inches longer. The diameters look to be about right.
