They know that nobody is going to buy. They just want to up-value their brand. You can see the description that the car belongs to the brand of the wheel. Nowaday, everybody wants to sell dream instead of product. This is a short cut to become a dreamed product.

It's just another Vossen "ad". These guys don't care and Vossen are in serious trouble financially - have been for a long time. They tried to get hold of the high end market about 7 years ago or so, but it backfired due to bad quality and worse service. I know way too many people who have had bad experience with Vossen. Try and order a set of wheels from them, it's impossible. My brother tried to order a set of wheels for his Merc last summer, they couldn't guarantee delivery within 6 months; and they couldn't explain why. It's astonishing how some conduct business. A guy I knew in Miami became an authorised Vossen dealer for a short while. He quit all relations with Vossen after 2 months.

They do this with Mercs, Fezzas, Lambos ect. They try to make their product look upscale by doing this. Unfortunately, too many buy into it, and buy cheap wheels for high prices. They aren't HRE expensive, but still 1/3rd. the price but with 1/20th of the quality.

Would you pay 1 mill for a set of cast aluminium wheels produced in Malaysia? Neither would I. Stick with HRE or the like for aftermarket wheels.

I had a set on my old range rover, my friend is an authorized dealer so went through him and got a great deal.... A week with the rims the center caps on two of the rims feel off. My friend was going to follow up with Vossen. During that time I valeted my car at Zuma Restaurant where the valet knows me well and parks my car up front. When I came out the valet gave me a business card of the owner of Vossen who happens to live in the same building as Zuma. He apparently saw my car parked with missing center caps, and wanted me to contact him. I did within the next few days and a day later he sent new center caps to me stating that he was very sorry that there was a manufacture defect on the glue that bonded the "Vossen" logo onto the center cap.

I was pretty impressed with their customer service.... I don't know about this marketing tactic they are using on AutoTrader but I think it is kinda genius.... lol

The wheels are total crap , these are Miami based guys as poster above mentions. Only aftermarket I would ever use are HRE, BBS or possibly ADV1 if they have their stuff together (not sure on that)
