I bought a Breitling Emergency watch, and sombody told me that this orange face is rare(after the purchase). Its all titanium, band and everything, but the face is A tangerine orange. Shame on me for not doing more research prior to purchase, I was simply in love with it! So who knows anything about this?

This is a google image of the watch, I beleive this is a later model of the watch( the numbers on the dial are less robust on my watch)

    Thanks guys,

This "corral" dial is also available on the superocean. I don't think it's rare, good looking watch.

It is no more rare than any of the other dial colors they make. It is the best looking one though! Congrats on the cool watch! I wear one too!

thanks guys! One more question; When I go to the airport, I take off the watch when I go through the screening and wont let them x-ray it(as "highly-educated" as the TSA is, for some reason I just dont trust them). Obviosly all of the agents think im up to something and I have to explain what it is, and one guy actually took it from me and started to un-screw it. So is it safe to go through x-ray or is that tempting fate?

Laptops, cell phones, iPods, and the like all come out the other side just fine. Why wouldn't it be safe to send a Breitling Emergency through the x-ray machine?

They've never stopped me or even noticed mine. I usually put it in my carry on bag as I am going through.

I have the stainless steel mission emergency. I put it in my carry on and run it through x-ray. No problems. I would be concerned about one of the rocket scientist type TSA guys unscrewing it. Would make for a lot of excitement...

I have the same watch but with the yellow face...I am not sure that it is rare but I cannot say that I have seen this particular watch with an orange face.

Also do not ever unscrew that crown unless you are in an acutal emergency because you will be fined something like $25,000.

Ray-G: that is beautiful!!!! I assume that was a custom fabrication for a client or was it a special one?

blazin: I beleive the fine is like 100K and you have to pay for all of the emergency services, im not 100% but I never want to find out or have to use it for that matter.....

Limited edition done by Breitling. I believe it was 10 pieces if my memory is correct. The fine is $10,000 plus the rescue fees. In other words you pay for the helicopters and anything else that may show up which could be over $100,000.

I was rescued by the royal navy of Scotland once and was not fined at all. I was not wearing a Breitling at the time though... I was lucky that a passing vessel saw me fall from a cliff face. :D
