I am quoting from the April 4, 2005 issue of Autoweek, page 38, column 2, second add:

2003 Ferrari 360 Spider F1-2200 miles, red/beige, never in rain, 6-cd changer, red calipers, Daytona power seats w/red inserts, Scudura [sic]
shields,Challenge grill, modular wheels, Tubi exhaust, East Coast car
    $290,000.00 OBO.

Holy inflation Batman I wonder what the OBO offer will be?

The ad is repeated in the April 11 Autoweek, page 32, bottom of column 4. It is now corrected to $209K (insread of $290K). I strongly agree that the earlier version was a typo on the part of the magzine.

I hope it was a typo and if so I also hope Autoweek gave the poor guy a free weeks add, 'cause they are not cheap.

Yeah, if it was a typo on their part, they definitely should do that. I hope the guy submitted the ad by postal or e-mail, so he can demonstrate who made the error. If he did it by phone, he may be out of luck.
