    I doubt that filter/chock is going to help much. I have never had much luck with them. As previously mentioned, the best thing to do, is to rewire everything as cleanly as possible, with high quality wire, RCA cables, and make sure everything is properly grounded.

    ALSO, I have found that keeping the stereo system as simple as possible helps too...the more complicated it gets (amps, electronic crossovers) seems to only multiply the opportunities to get whine, hum and other anomolies.
