    As cars get wider, the butterfly doors help with parking situations. So, there is some function to it.

    The day I give a dam about what someone who isn't paying my bills thinks of what I drive, is the day I throw in the towel/ The doors are actually dihedral, and they are brilliant for ingress and egress.

    I have driven TRs, 308s, CS, an F40 and a bunch of other exotics, every day (including work) and because I don't make a big deal out of it, neither does anyone else.

    As for the doors; I love them! Aside from the ease of entry/exit, it does contribute to the 'specialness' of the experience. I was over the gawkers in a day.
