Can anyone else confirm this? This would be awesome! http://www.jalopnik.com/cars/alfa-romeo/index.php
I hope so, might be the best looking italian car I've seen in years - I think it's gorgeous (probably what the Maser should have been) so I hope we see it in some form or another.
I read on www.italiaspeed.com that Alfa's planning to do a limited run of about 500. Their new chief wants to spend advertising money on the car instead of advertising to enhance the overall image of Alfa. I'd say he's making a very good investment. Forza, Cavallini
how about just a shared platform with maserati's coupe/spyder? that would be a win-win for both companies. if they are coming to north america, this will be the car to introduce alfa back.
At only 500 copies it would be a very short introduction. They would need a whole lot of things (very long list) to come back here but most of all would be an affordable car that's gorgeous and a winner. Bob S.
Thats stupid . Although this car will sell ( 500 isnt that much ), what will it prove ? That Alfa can make high quality one offs. Is that the business they are in ? They should make the 8C to go compete with the 997 . No need for Cf body .. A RWD 1500 kgs 400hp car with this body at +/- 100 000 $ would sell .
Agreed, they need to make it more of a mass production model. Being an ex-Alfa owner myself, I would rather see Alfa develop it's own engines again (currently uses modified Opel I4s and GM/Holden V6) for the general range, then a limited production Halo car. They didn't even have the cash to introduce the entire interior range on the Brera from launch and the GM engine is pathetic for an Italian car, I know I test drove a Brera.
