I wanted to see if anyone knew of the 1997 F355 GTS 6 Speed that is currently on Ebay for sale with a buy it now of $50,000.00 Car has 36k miles, nero/beige. Owner indicates running well, and fully serviced Any insight would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks Chris
Wow, there are more GTS cars for sale this week on eBay than I have seen for a really long time. The subject car looks like a deal and there are one or two others that look good too. I like the 99 Red GTB a lot.
Chris, the car is 2 minutes from my house. It is currently at Studio47 which is a well know shop here in Columbus for servicing Italian cars. The owner of Studio47 is Craig. I am heading over there in the afternoon on Wednesday if you want me to look at it for you. I think the owner will take $47000 for the car. It just had an engine out at Midwestern Auto Group which is an authorized Ferrari dealer. Supposedly the car is spotless. I was going to buy it but I ended up buying a 98 yellow/black F1 with 12000 miles from Rich Lucero here on the board. PM me if you want certain pics. I have been in contact with the owner for a couple of days and am awaiting the results of the PPI as well. I doubt that he would take 47k at this point as he has had a lot of interest. If everything checks out I have offered to pay his asking price.... We'll see. Seems like a nice car.
Haaaaa, glad I could help you guys. For the money, it is super clean and I consider my self anal. The carbon fiber looks top quality and is not some fake glue on. Minor chips on the front but I don't even know if I could find more then 10 total. No paint work and the dash had little to no pulling. The engine bay is clean and the removable side panels are not faded making me assume it was not left sitting outside for any period of time. The 360 steering wheel is to die for and making me reconsidering leaving mine stock!!!
