    Are University offices likely closed today as well?

    Yes, it is a "Bank Holiday" - aka a public holiday - in the UK today.

    Not absolutely sure about University offices, but almost certainly closed.

    At the risk of taking this off in a P&R direction they may not even be open Tuesday given the protests everywhere
