Islero loses engine power occasionally

    My Islero runs wonderful. However in 2000km I have driven with the car it happened twice the engine lost power driving on the highway. It felt like lack of petrol, I opened the throttle fully, the car hardly accelerate. After a short while all power is back.
    Any Idea what could have caused this issue?

    Vapor Lock? Was it hot?

    Do you mean outside temperature? It was not extremely hot. On the highway the cooling by the air should be enough I would say.

    Some things that can do it, somewhat in order of probability
    Clogged fuel filter
    Fuel pump getting weak
    Vapor lock as above
    Intermittent electrical connection, ign switch, coil, condenser
    Coil going bad
    Condenser going bad
    I’m sure there are others
