Very nice Marc! So good to see them surrounded with other cars in the real life. Makes them even more special.
This is #6480, this car used to be in France, wich also can be seen by the yellow lights. Thanks for sharing Marc! Ciao! Marcello
My pleasure: I always liked Isleros and enjoyed driving the one that Motorcar Gallery in Fort Lauderdale had around 2003, 2004 when I was there every chance I had! best regards, Marc
Hi folks, #6318 is still alive...and for sale now !!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260481085514&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME%3AB%3ASS%3ABE%3A1123#v4-35
i would love to know where this one ended up... the only info i got was the car was apparently once owned by a famous italian test driver ... (NOT Balboni ) never confirmed i lost traking of it Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Emilio, it is #6507 that was belonging in this shape to a Belgian guy for years. I know that his italian friend (where the car was located) sold it in Italy...he said to Fabio Lamborghini, but Fabio never confirmed it to me... I have all these pictures too ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Never heard about #6318 before...but it's good to know it shows off... If you want to buy inquire to Lou Herrin, it is reported in his survivors list : http://www.lamborghiniislero.com/
What do you think about my last discovery (2 weeks ago) ? Not too bad...no, no, just what to make people afraid of Vintage car to be restored... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did anybody else go to Geneva Classic this year? It was Aston Martin year, with many wonderful examples. No Lamborghini... Except my Islero in the parking! Image Unavailable, Please Login
There are 2 engines with this car, one with a hole in the block. I've not seen them yet, only when I'll go and pick it up...
Looks like it is an early Islero GT , any idea about the VIN yet ? Lou Herrin reports: "a gold Islero GT with blown engine, 2nd engine and some body pieces for restoration in France in 2000", is that the same car ?
Yes it is Kevin, but it is in fact Bronzo scuro/senape...and I did identified it with Lou's help like ever...and part my detective job, following previous owners...leading to a secret VIN number, as there is no more VIN plate or title !
I bought it for 10.000 euro or 14.000 US$...it's a bargain and it still deserves it... It has no VIN plate & no title... but I have finally discovered its VIN... #6306 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, but not right now as #6009 must be achieved by next April and I have another "target" that I want to add to my garage too !
This is a quite intersting link: http://home.mobile.de/home/fahrzeuge-haukmotorsas.html? Hmmm quite intersting. Diablo 6.0 and SVR and this: Islero 400 1968 only 89 000 Euros, sale. The price seems very cheap, I expected that this kind of rare things could be much more expensive?! http://home.mobile.de/home/showDetails.html?id=121676520&__lp=2&scopeId=AV&sortOption.sortBy=makeModelDescriptionSortField&sortOption.sortOrder=ASCENDING&makeModelVariant1.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant2.searchInFreetext=false&makeModelVariant3.searchInFreetext=false&siteId=GERMANY&damageUnrepaired=ALSO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&export=ALSO_EXPORT&grossPrice=true&customerIdsAsString=2969618&lang=en&pageNumber=2&partnerHead=true&showZip=false&showModels=false&hideVehicleType=false
