There is no sunroof Islero. If you are looking for one, you must look at Jarama, 20 were built with sunroof, one being just sold recently at Monterey last August !
FYI, the ad for the yellow 1968 Islero with the custom side vents currently listed on ebay looks like a scam. The photos of the car were taken by me several years ago and are being used without permission. Lamborghini Other Coupe | eBay Cheers Jim
Udo owned it then, correct? No interior or engine shots, and no reserve, and your photos. It's trouble. Certainly a pay when/if you see it item.
Correct. The interior and engine shots are not in the ad, but I have them. Agreed, I would not part with any money until I saw the car. Cheers Jim
At Amelia Island in March, the owner had Valentino sign the driver's door panel. It would be very hard to miss in any photo.
he was parked beside me and it was SO hideous I thought if I took a photo it would bust my lens those oldsmobile ish door mirrors in garish yellow didn't help either . third pic has absolutely no bearing on this conversation but what the hell its my post Gary Espada 8394 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hideous because why on earth would you want someone to sign leather? He signed my oil filter housing, a first for him. Looks very cool when the engine cover is open.
Hello Lamborghini friends, my Name is Wolfgang, I am from Germany and just about to finish the restoration of Islero S #6411. We are working on the Suspension. We think the springs are not the right ones as the car is standing too high. My mechanic has a set of springs from the 400 GT. Are theses springs identical to the ones used in the Islero? Is there any specific part number for the Islero springs? Any help is appreciated. regards, Wolfgang
Just bought this vintage pic. Very nice! Hope the matador didn't end up like Manolete! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree.. that looks horrible. Sign the owners manual, or inside the engine cover but on the leather? bad idea.
