I think we can all agree, it is something special when you are driving with other cars in a group. Just puts a smile on your face.
sorry, Nothing, the guy I met changed his cell number… sorry ! all I've collected has been shared already….

Well this has solved a mystery for me - the first Lamborghini I ever saw was an Islero on Parramatta Road in late 1970. Was it 6189, 6438 or 6441? Assuming this is the original paint on 6438 then the car I saw was 6441 in its lighter blue as I don't think the similar 6189 was in Australia yet. Nice to see it back in the daylight. John
6438 was originally Silver John and got painted dark blue about 1991 so the Islero you saw should be 6441 Daren
Thanks Daren, I have been trying to work this out for a long time. I remember being torn between 6441 and a Munch Mammut motorcycle on the footpath! Still the nicest Lambo made. John
Very sad to inform you that the only one gentleman who dreamed and challenged to race at 24H Le Mans back in 1975, just passed away... R.I.P. Paul Rilly Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Islero # 6273 currently on BaT. Such a beautiful car. Personally, I prefer its new color over the original orange. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969-lamborghini-islero/ Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm very happy to have found a new home for Islero #6015 which will joined a very nice collection of Lamborghini and will stand next to a Miura like it did with Ferruccio Lamborghini and Eduardo Don Miura.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well done Olivier! I haven't seen pictures of the rest lately. is it ready yet? Original green and split bumpers? And will it stay in Europe?
Marcel, It will stay in Europe in a huge collection next to its sisters... The restoration will continue at my friend/partner's workshop in UK...
It does look good, imo Perhaps the fuel tank is in the car now or right there at the rear bumper. If 'shopped, nice job...even with the sun glare and view through the windows.
