Well that explains why I saw none of them or you at Concourso.

I recognize some of them. This split into Quail and Concourso, where does it go?

I had a great time at Quail. Will do it again over CI.

Sure did. A Cadillac ATS. Straight to the parking lot.

Quail working with Winston Goodfellow recognized the anniversary, so that was the venue. It was a amazing display of iso cars, most likely the largest ever. The Quail site is fantastic and I miss CI being there. It brings back a lot of good memories, plus the exit and entrance are so much better.

Next year we are all back at CI. Hopefully CI will treat us a bit better, the last few years they shoved us out back and told us we had a great spot. The Iso Biz club IBOC was the second club to join Maserati and we have been at CI every year since. Manderano treated us well and we appreciated that. I heard the crowd was way down at CI , is that true?

Thanks much for posting these pics, what an amazing array of Iso's on display!

It must have been a unique occasion, with more than 1 example of both the Fidia as well as Lele in one place other than the factory. And what a mouthwatering collection of Grifo's....

I thought it was Lamborghini who was second???
At least you got in before Ferrari arrived en mass right?

I cannot judge the crowd since the last time I was at the event was in 2000 when it was still at Quail. Afterwards the Mandaranos were asking what people thought about a move to Saturday. Not such a great idea for when one of the major marques is honored at the track ... Like the next two years.

My impression of the Saturday Historics is that the event is a LOT smaller now. Still some nice cars but some odd groupings of cars that race with each other. There are nowhere near as many people or club sponsored parking of cars in attendance. That used be another entire car show all by itself.

I had zero problems getting in or out as an exhibitor of a car. There were no long lines of traffic to deal with like we used to have at Quail. Oh well there WAS yet another bozo in a Gallardo practicing his sand trap shot.

Your guys cars WERE missed. At least by me! We've had lots of nice ones over the years at Pocono including this year's spiders. Piero Rivolta and the Varedo have been there many times as well.
