Ferrari era domination opening :) .
Basically showing off the star of the show Michael and Ferrari majority in it. One of my favorite F1 cars is shown also in it the Ferrari F2002. Which I think was the true dominate Ferrari nearly won every race that year.

Schumacher was at absolute peak of driving F1 god in that 2002 year. I mean cmon he was always on the podium in those races (F2001 was placing 3rd or better in that year with him with the F2002 he placed 2nd or won the race that year with that car in all races it raced oh and nearly every 2nd place Rubens would always nearly occupied that spot meaning 1-2 Ferrari was petty common with the F2002 in that year). Which is showing he didn't make a mistake at all that year unlike in 2004 with the Ferrari F2004 or the team for that matter in 2002 when they had points combined in total that would equal to all the other teams in total. Despite Rubens getting the short stick in terms of dnfs they both petty much showed that car was God like really in terms of performance. Close to perfection.

schumi was at his peak in 02. on the podium every single race. incredible achievement by team and driver that I doubt will ever be equaled.

Not a good period to be a fan of some other team or driver, that is for sure.

I became a Schumacher fan largely because of the massive storm of whining that came his way back then.

I'm normally one to pull for an underdog, but Schumacher and Ferrari really impressed. Schumacher was also one to celebrate a lot when he won, and the fun seemed contagious.

There's an excellent article on Autosport atm about the F2004.

The F2002 and F2004 are 2 of my favourites, the 2002 because it shocked the opposition, with it's much lower bodywork due to the placing of radiators...the 2004 was the ultimate evolution, everything worked perfectly together...and teams such as Williams, Mclaren and Renault all where able to catch up at this point and Ferrari blew them away (far more impressive back then than now imo, but lets not get into that **** again).

read it. Ferrari did'nt even know it would be that good.

"The F2004's potential was evident from the start. Following an encouraging run at Fiorano it was taken to Imola, a more representative venue. It was so much faster than had been predicted that the engineers were left shell-shocked."

I loved the part when they where checking every thing over and over, sure that the scales where wrong or something as it was far faster than the numbers suggested

I mean I like the F2004 also, but the F2002 tops in terms of impressiveness cause which other F1 car can proclaim the crown of having the 1st place team that is so dominate that its score is equal in total is the same as the other teams points combined together in total. Another feat also which i don't think will be ever matched ever again (Unless Lewis this year can do it) was Michael winning the WDC by a whopping magin of 6 races to go. Not to mention near winning almost all races that year with Monaco only one not won with it only equaled with that achievement by % wise by the mp4/4. Plus Schumacher was absolutely incredible that year as said by other posters. The f2004 is definitely impressive though without a doubt in my opinion though.
