It Ain't Fair!

Here in upstate NY we are bracing for three or four days of single-digit above-and-below-0 days. The Dinos are shivering in the garage, hiding under the covers, delirious with the sheer cold. Over the weekend, my friend Bob Z. (a frequent Vintage Chat poster with a beautiful bright-yellow 330 GTC) called to tell me that, in S. Carolina, it was 65 degrees, and would probably "drop down" to 55 overnight! He had been driving his recently-refurbished 1971 FIAT sport spider, with the top down, and told me that the top would never go up again! Would that my ancestors had washed ashore in a bit more temperate environment. Now it's back to dreaming of that first late-spring drive in one of the Dinos--after a pre-run to verify that the suspension-eating potholes have all been filled! Fred
