Anyone else buy fire extinguishers after watching this? Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
he said he's not insured so presumably some kind of self insurance policy (complicated and expensive to setup and iirc you need 2-3m in a locked bank account or something)
Yep... that's the correct VIN: https://www.classic.com/veh/2020-ferrari-f8-tributo-zff92lla3l0255335-pJJeMVp/ Dave W7UUU Image Unavailable, Please Login
Still waiting on his Cybertruck durability test video, which should be posted any day now. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm pretty sure he will but even if he couldn't I don't think he cares. Say what you will but thousands of people start channels that never go ANYWHERE. Whistlin' Diesel was able to make the right moves and generate enough ad revenue to do this kind of thing. And he HAS to abuse these cars, that is what his fan base knows him for!
He's an entertainer first and foremost. How it's done is irrelevant. There's a lot of talent and production involved to make content at this level. I respect the grind and hustle. Kid has got moxie.
It’s easy to break things. Much harder to build them. I see no reason at all to celebrate the former and find it sad that millions of people choose to do so.
But you gotta admit, he's pretty sharp, pretty funny and quite the editing genius.... he's doing better than most of us, regardless of what his content premise is.
setting aside the subjective assessment of his comedy factor, he’s clearly attained a significant degree of success on YouTube, which I absolutely recognise. For all I know though, he’s up to his eyeballs in debt and has a terrible family life, so I wouldn’t make the assumption that he’s doing better than anyone here. I also wouldn’t assume that the host of a YouTube channel with 8m+ subs is doing his own editing; more likely that’s being done by a paid video editor. I just think that as a comment on society, it’s sad that this is something we celebrate. Like I said, breaking things is easy. You could argue that this wanton destruction is a form of artwork in itself, but this strikes me as just gratuitous and pretty brainless. I’d much rather promote the opposite behaviours, especially to the younger generations. [For the record, I completely support WD’s freedom of expression here. I may be critical of the guy, but I wholeheartedly support his right to show this stuff.]
Not very interesting to me, meh. Sorta like an updated Mr Bean with a different psychosis. Acts like he got/gets beat up a lot The kid has found a niche to make money which is not easy so ya gotta give that to him. The beauty of life is there is something for everyone to enjoy.
His first cybertruck video exposed some decent points of weakness that Tesla should address and allowed many to see.
