Congrats John. No babies coming this way. Just had our last one last Jan 14th

 

Hey! Women's Health Care! That's my dad's company, and also the place I'm having all my wife's obstetrical... is that a word? work done. Pretty generic name though.


Baby's due January 4th. No names decided yet. Yes it's a first. Saw the heartbeat the other day, and expect to hear it this week!!

PS-- I read someone's post about baby stuff being at ferraristore, but all I've found are some shoes and toys, with a couple shirts. Any cribs, bedding etc out there?

For those looking for a cool stroller, PM Ron Adams - I'm not sure what his username is (Maybe Challenge or Challenge 64)... He and his wife Tina and their darling baby Bella showed up to the Scuderia Rampage and they had a car seat that turns into a stroller in mere seconds... It was pretty cool...

 

Congratz on the upcomming addition to your family, the experience will change you forever. We had our first in November and I had 2 other friends that shared the same due date...only one went on time, one was a week early and we were 4 days late.

The first ultrasound was awesome, its really amazing. We had several the first few months as my wife had lost a little one less than a year before and our doctor was a little more cautious and wanted to reassure us. The early ones don't show much...like you said sorta looks like a peanut...in a few weeks you will see the arm and leg buds as they sorta take the shape of a gummy bear.

Oh and by the way, a THOUSAND DOLLARS for a car seat. Please tell me that you are kidding. Remember that your bundle of joy will be in it for no more than a year....get a good one for $250 and put the rest into your kids college fund.

Congratulations!! We're also expecting our first. We're 10 weeks into it, have our first sonogram and will be able to hear our baby's heartbeat in 3 weeks! I cannot believe that this is happening. We're extremely excited and scared at the same time. Our baby is due January 4th, but several people have told us that the first baby usually arrives a bit earlier than expected.

 

As my wife gave birth to our daughter last November I know what your wife means....trust me it is better if you don't know. Hope that the racing went well.

I'm actually throwing a baby shower for my friend and his girl friend in July. I'm actually really close with both of them. She's helped me through a lot of tough times. It's the least I could do.

I was wondering how the pregnancy was going. We had our baby back in May, so the whole thing is still really fresh. On our block alone, there have been 14 babies born in the last 6 months! Get ready, because the final 3 months fly by so damn fast you won't believe it. Keep us posted...

Oh yeah. In case I forget to tell you later, when you're at the hospital, take anything and everything home that you can possibly grab. You'll be glad you did it. Our nurse actually took a couple bags to the supply room and loaded them up for us with all kinds of baby stuff.

 

That is so true. Also when you go to the pediatrician and they ask you if you are using formula always say 'Yes' even if you plan to breast feed or just supplement with formula. They will then load you up on free samples. We had enough to last us the first three months and we fed her formula exclusively.
