I agree, scissor doors are cool and gullwings are even cooler. The thing I don't understand is why owners with scissor doors feel they need to have the doors up when on display. To me, having the doors up ruins the overall appearance of the car. Has it become a sort of 'look at me' kind of thing?

I knew you would take advantage of throwing ANOTHER dig about my Lambo doors being up while on display and tagging Lambo owners as ostentatious bla bla bla. The rapper comments are getting old too.... Why don't you show up and face us instead of hiding behind the computer playing dictator....Get a life!


P.S. I wonder if it was someone elses car if you would've made these comments once again.

i find that MOST people find these cars more interesting when the doors are up..


doors up seem to draw people over for a closer look..


i am hesitant to walk away from my car with the doors up or when the top is down.. but i appreciate those owners who are not as hesitant..

Looked like a nice turnout! Lots of nice rides, and I love the old school Alfas.

 

Your ferrari doesn't need the bling. You won a "Show Plaque" for your 308 without even touching your doors. Although ..... Scissor doors would have been a really cool option if it had been offered from the factory.

 

My pants have scissor doors and they are ALWAYS up

Perhaps he doesn't know that "down" is in the "using" position.

 

I gave it some serious thought. But I just got my car back Friday from CAS fixing some serious software issues and there were no guarantees that all the bugs had been worked out. Didn't want to push the car too hard and then have to tow it all the way back to CAS from SouthHaven. Dave was putting together a serious party at his place and I had an open invite. Timing sucked and hope to be on board for the next one! Don't be shy Gary. What did I miss?

 

I drove up with my buddies on our motorcycles and we were glad to see the Lamborghini doors in the "up" position-made it easy to find the show from Butterfield Rd. It seemed like a good turn out of cars and the weather was perfect!! It was nice to see 3 Panteras and the 4 different color Lamborghinis parked side by side!! That lime green Murcie Roadster blows my mind( and this was only my second time seeing it in person-the owner seems nice/ friendly also!!!)

 

The doors look better up. It's obviously a special feature of the car why not show it off.

 

Koenigsegg doors are pretty sweet lookin too.

Not sure, I just googled the image. I don't have any Koenigsegg's in my personal stash with the doors up. Actually I didn't see one until a couple weeks ago for the first time in my life.
