    It was indeed sold new through Ferrari of Los Gatos, and has remained a California car its entire life.

    Not certain as I haven't read the book yet (but it is in my collection and I do plan to read it soon). But it's called Verde Pino Metallizzato, the car was sold new on May 14, 1976.
