Has anyone done business with Italian Design and Racing? I am thinking about buying a lexan rear window from them but I don't want to get ripped off. Are they for real or just some sort of internet scam? Any feedback will be much appreciated.

I bought the euro grill and front bumper for my ex 308 from them. All went well with the transaction.

Very stand up guys, I have done business with Butch Hooper since 1998. Have never had an issue and he always comes through.

If it is the group in Phoenix, Butch Hooper has retired to Colorado and sold the business. I dealt with Butch, very fair and good guy with which to deal. I do not know anything about the new group, other than they moved all of the cars and parts from Butch's house to their facitliy closer to central Phoenix.

It's been a while since I was out that way, but 3-4 years ago I had been to 2 different shops (about a year apart) Butch had in the Phoenix area...never had to go to his house??

Either way, Butch is/was a stand-up guy....actually sorry to hear that someone else is now running the show.

About 2-3 years ago, he closed the actual shop near central Phoenix, and moved everything to his home in NW Phoenix. Way out pst Bell Road. His set-up there was one to make all car enthusiasts jealous. I ended up buying the molds from him to replicate the 288 GTO Evoluzione.

The group that purchased the business from Butch is Anthem Motors they are a great group of guys and will definately treat you fairly. The owners name is John Panfil and he is very supportive of the FCA in Arizona. They are hosting a Ferrari club brunch and open house May 6th. By the end of the week all the details will be on www.ferrariaz.com

Thanks, like I mentioned it had been a while since I was out to his last shop (Glendale ?).

Anyway, did/does Butch have a Ferrari or two himself? Do you know if he did well enough to retire on the Ferrari parts business or was there something else along the line and this (Italian design) was just his hobby.

Just like to know people's stories =)
