Really a disaster; the weather has gone so mad nowadays: it's either no rain at all or too much rain, but never right.
Many thoughts for Emilia Romagna, hope you and yor family are allright, Alberto.

heartbreaking to see all this:( fortunately my family is west of Bologna/Parma and didn't experience the devastation shown.
I was there last September, took my wife for the first time and she was blown away by how beautiful it is. We drove from Parma to Bologna/Maranello/Modena and finished in Rimini... I hope the gvt. gets help to those in the area ASAP

I assume that Maranello and Modena escaped the worst of the damage?

Yes some towns suffered worse than other for certain.....BUT..the larger issue was really that roads leading in and around were impacted; so depending on where you were coming from, access was very difficult to impassible

No damage at all in Modena and Maranello.

In Bologna minor damage, almost already completely fixed. Beaches in Riviera Romagnola - Adriatic sea - are all ok are and full of tourists

    ciao
