    My wife and I will be touring around Italy from May 20 though June 10, with a little time in the middle from May 31 through June 4 to run the Targa Florio in Sicily!!!!

    Our stopovers are:

    Nice-Verbania-Venice-Fano-Vico del Gargano-Santa Cesarea Terme-Catanzaro-Palermo-"Giro di Sicilia/Targa Florio"-Praiano-Florence-Nice.

    Just running a Hertzmobile ('Renault Laguna or similar') for the road trip part but running a 1952 Ermini 1100 for the Targa.

    Anyone generally along the route above please feel free to PM me and I can put dates to the above stops as well as my international mobile phone number. It would be wonderful to meet some F-chatters along our tour.

    can't help you with info or other help on this trip.
    But is it possible to show us a pic of your ride during the TF?

    I don't know what a 1952 Ermini 1100 is.

    Here's some more shots. Engine is Fiat-based but with a custom twin cam head. Hired from www.classiccarcharter.com in Milan - Pietro has a stable of vintage-eligible cars so I just went with open/red/Italian...

    I would advise dieting before you go as the food is not to be believed and you'll soon be a bit heavier as the tour goes on.
