On Sunday, August 29th on Monroe Street in front of the Italian Village. Parking starts at 9:45am. Free lunch for FCA members is served at noon. You need to RSVP on the FCA website.

Support Children's hospital by purchasing raffle tickets.

I wonder why FCA would set a date to conflict with its own track weekend.

I can't speak for them, but I'm sure they would have avoided that if they had a choice. Perhaps these were the only dates they were given by the city/Italian village and Gingerman track?

It happens. This weekend we have a similar (sad) situation with the Milwaukee Masterpiece and the Geneva concours competing against each other. Both prestigious concours events in almost the same neck of the woods.

What a great show and drive TO the city.

Now nothing can express the feeling of driving a 30+ year old v12 on a 96 deg day in bumper to bumper traffic on the kennedy. Oh did i mention that vintage Ferrari A/C does not work!

    David,
HaHaHa!!! You just forgot to roll the windows down, it works fine then.

Of course if you were heading south on your way home, you wouldn't have been sitting in bumper to bumper traffic. Hillary and I were just cruising, two V-12s on a routinely smooth Chicago commute. :)

    Regards,
    Bill

PS: Thanks to the event organizers and especially to the Italian Village once again for their support, although I still miss the Pheasant stuffed pasta from a few years back.
