Hello to our FerrariChat friends, ItalianCarFest 2013 will be on Sept 7 at Nash Farm in Grapevine and registration is now open. We are celebrating our 10th anniversary and you are all invited to join us!! We are working with Don Rose to present a special display of 10 Ferraris for 10 years of ICF. We will continue our new, popular class, the Italian Connection, with more partial Italian heritage cars for your viewing pleasure. All the other Italin marques will be on display, too. You can expect the usual amenities at the show - a show field that allows you to walk around the cars - custom made glass awards - our Food Court with great Italian sandwiches and drinks, including beer & wine - and the comraderie of seeing old friends and making new ones. Please visit our website at ItalianCarFest for all the details and to register. Most importantly, mark your calendars today - September 7, 10 to 4 pm, at Nash Farm - to join us as we celebrate 10 years of presenting wonderful Italian machinery for all to enjoy. We look forward to seeing the FerrariChat community spend the day with us. You have been great supporters of ICF and we sincerely appreciate it. Best regards, Bob Dezzany
I may just bring my hooptie 308 out. That is the same morning as Cars and Coffee, and Im not sure if I'll be all showed out by 10am.
Im planning on coming out with my f430 (first timer), but not interested in entering it in any competitions. Is there places to park Ferrari for just public viewing OR would I just do general public parking? Thanks in advance..
In the past, there has been special parking for Italian vehicles near the entrance of the show field.
Yes we will again have parking at the show field entrance for Italian vehicles. For most people, I don't think it is about the 'competition'. Just an opportunity to display your car and hang out with fellow enthusiasts. I usually show my Ducati as 'display only' since I am the club Pres.
hope you dont mind me posting this, this happens later that day at TMS. If you havent driver your car around TMS, its a cheap blast and its for charity. If anybody is interested in going, maybe we could show up as a group and run as a group... they do 20 cars at a time, last time I was there.. Laps for Charity Saturday, September 7, 2013 You're the driver when Texas Motor Speedway opens up the track to the public! Sold in increments of 3 laps for $30!
A friend of mine is supposed to bring his new Boxer. Haven't seen it yet but if its the one I'm thinking of its minty. I'm supposed to do a Home and Garden show this weekend but we'll see.
If someone is looking for something to do the evening before ICF, the Grapevine Palace Theater is showing the original Italian Job. The Italian Job - Grapevine,Texas Events
I am registered but won't be able to bring the car out. So no "unwashed Ferrari" award for me this year. Sorry. Always a great event though.
Great event as expected. It was nice to see some more vintage F-cars out there. Especially the green Daytona...absolutely stunning. Sent from a potato using Tapatalk
Very nice event as usual - and best of all, the first thing I saw when I walked in was my old single-mirror Testarossa - our sponsor RAC had it brought over as a featured car for display only. Made my day. Maybe I need this car back - it was in immaculate condition.
