While this is probably not much of a shock to everyone, we wanted to go ahead and make the announcement that this year's ItalianCarFest is canceled. We worked with the City of Grapevine to try and come up with a solution with that would allow us to safely put on the show, but there were just too many obstacles to overcome. The club always says thank you to the various Ferrari owners who have supported us all these years. Your participation is one of the things that makes ICF so enjoyable and memorable for both spectators and entrants alike.

We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable summer.

    Regards,

    Jeff Briggs

Perhaps a more reasonable, scientifically inclined neighboring jurisdiction, such as Colleyville, Keller, Flower Mound, or Westlake would have the necessary facilities, as well as an understanding for the need to balance commerce and the Wuhan Flu.

Colleyville in particular has been very aggressive balancing these things. I’m sure they would value the event and business it would bring to their city.

Thanks J-P for the suggestion. I ran it by the club members in charge of ICF and they said there was not enough time or club labor to find and transfer over to another venue. Also they do not want to jeopardize our relationship with Grapevine as the city does a lot of the "heavy lifting" needed to put on the show. Additionally, some of our sponsors and past participants have stated they were going to sit this year out due to health reasons. So setting aside our passion for the cars and the show, we regrettably had to cancel ICF for this year. Thanks everyone for understanding.

With the long term relationship both Boardwalk and Ferrari Club DFW has with ICF , the City of Grapevine, etc... changing venues would just make it " another car show "
Since Italian Car Fest is directly associated with Grapefest and all the festivities surrounding it, it just wouldn't be the same anywhere else. ( IMO )

You made the right choice and ICF will be back in 2021 bigger and better than ever before!

Thank you for working with us to continue the tradition in the years to come!

    Steve
