    Greetings-

An inspection of the new, recently landscaped area that will be a part of this year's all-Italian car show in Grapevine (Sat., Sept 10, 2005) allows us to announce the deadline for submitting Applications for Entry has been extended until Sept. 3, 2005

The new area, designated the West Lawn, was graded and hydromulched in late July. With ample water and sunshine the turf has been through a cutting and will be mowed again in a day or two. With 2 1/2 weeks to go, it should be in shape for plenty of wonderful Italian cars.

Please convey to those who have not yet entered that we welcome their applications.

Are we supposed to get entry confirmations? I know some did, but I didn't receive one. I sent my entry 2 weeks ago.

    Thanks,

We have available space for your car under a tent (constructed without walls) in either the Full Reserved Weekend Package or Limited RWP. To date we have had 17 entrants purchase RWPs.

That option is available on the entry form. If you want to upgrade your regular entry to RWP, please give me a ring at (817) 521-4400 and I can discuss upgrading your entry. If you want to do this, let me know by Monday as the tent order must be finalized.

Yesterday and today the temperatures in Grapevine have been 7-10 degrees cooler than last week which, with 3 days topping at 103 degrees, was unusally hot. According to the National Weather Service the average of high temps for the last 5 years on Sept. 9-12 is 89 degrees.

In addition, we are again providing the air-conditioned Private Lounge where complimentary soft drinks, wine & snacks will be served. It is open to you and your guest to enjoy.

    No, sir.

Looking at our e-mail account I see a reply to your e-mail was sent 29-Aug-05 11:31 pm. In it I stated that it has not arrived and inquired if you put it in the mail within the last few days or if it is long overdue.

Pls give me ring at metro 817 521-4400. I'd really like to have you and your great car at Cross Timbers Winery this year.

I don't know if that will really work. It will be huge, even just the Ferraris. 30+ entered plus the 100+ members/FC users that just come out to view. Field will be pretty crowded. Good for small packs, not efficient for larger groups. Everyone will eventually run into everyone though one on one.

if I wanted to spectate on the track day... would I just show up? In my deprived life I've only seen one Ferrari in motion, and I don't even think the driver took it over 3k rpm... I'd like to fix this.

I looked, but seemed to have missed the car show times. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I wanted to get there early to watch them all roll in & before the public crowds & the HEAT come.
