ItalianCarFest Weekend starts Thurs., Sept 7th with a caravan from DFW Airport to the Gaylord Texan Resort as we pick up famed designer Tom Tjaarda on his first trip to Texas.

Mr. Tjaarda is credited with design of the Ferrari 330GT, Ferrari 365 California Spider, DeTomaso Pantera and FIAT 124 Spider.

Mr. Tjaarda will be our Honored Guest at the Friday Reception at the Gaylord Texan Resort hosted by Texas Driver Magazine.

And we plan to have a special area on the showfield Saturday, Sept. 9 for Mr. Tjaarda to discuss his designs with ICF entrants and the general public. We expect a show day crowd of 12,000.

The ICF Saturday Evening at Gaylord will be a wonderful event and Mr. Tjaarda has agreed to make a presentation.

Sunday, Mr. Tjaarda will be present for our Tract Day and related activities at TMS.

We will soon announce the exact time of Mr. Tjaarda's arrival. For those of you coming from out of the area or out of state, we will give you as much notice as possible.

    go to italiancarfest.com for details.

Thanks to all for your generous support of ItalianCarFest.

ICF Weekend article in Veloce Today, an on line magazine - http://velocetoday.com/news/news_57.php

In addition to Veloce Today, ItalianCarFest also has been written up in Classic Motorsports Magazine, Classic & Sports Car Magazine, and Vintage Motorsports this last spring plus various marque specific magazines.

Also there is a nice promotional write up with car pictures in the current Hemming's Sports & Exotic Car Magazine (p. 14).

And there is also a preview of ICF Weekend in Motor Trend Classic that hits magazine racks around Aug. 20 (if you subscribe, you may already have it).

And we look forward to seeing what great features may be in Texas Driver Magazine, too.

Thanks to all the enthusiastic supporters who have assisted with the publicity. And to the owners of the cars shown in the pictures used by these magazines, thanks for being at ICF's Saturday show and Sunday Track Day.

Without the support of these, other enthusiasts and generous sponsors the effort to provide the Great Southwest with an Italian car and two-wheel extravaganza would be fruitless. Thanks to all and please continue to help get the message out.
