    I came across this and thought some of you might be interested since it is a cool trip for comparably little money and it also benefits a good purpose, the construction of the new Iowa Transportation Museum:

    The Iowa Transportation Museum is sponsoring a tour, Italy by Design, June 5 to 16. The tour starts in Venice on a water taxi and works its way across northern Italy, through Florence, the Tuscany region, Lake Como, gateway to the Italian Alps and concludes in Milan. Special features include a tour of the Lamborghini factory, plus visits to the Ferrari Museum, Alfa Romeo complex and the Monza race track. The tour also includes wine tastings, cooking classes and a silk factory tour.

    Tour participation is open to all who become Founding Friends of the Iowa Transportation Museum.
