With spring fast approaching, I thought I would get my butt in gear and complete the interior. This gooey black mess got everywhere last year, every ride I ended up with it all over my hands and under my fingernails. 100% pain in the ass!

I have stripped all the "sticky" components to send to Robbie at Sticky No More. Check out how gooey that steering column is! The leather will also be getting serviced. I was surprised how well leather can be repaired and color matched - the interior of my dads Morgan was recently done and they even changed the color of the seats!

The carpets I will give a good steam clean and evaluate. I also intend on installing metal foot plates and fire extinguisher.

I will post pics of the re-finished interior parts and leather when complete.

Just wait to you see what Robbie will do to those parts. No one, and I mean no one, can come close to his level of perfection. Worth every penny for these very expensive, highly visible parts.

After having gone through the process of restoring my interior completely including a slight color change in leather and the refinishing the sticky stuff, let me tell you it's an insane amount of work.

The materials to do this actually cost very little but the amount of hours is ridiculous. Sending the stuff to stickynomore is a good idea.

Also, is your dash in need of new leather or it hasn't shrunk that much?

My dash is in good condition.... there is only small amount of shrinkage on the airbag cover. The edges are slightly raised but nothing to be concerned about right now. Did you recover your dash?

Yes I did. I restored my entire interior myself including new leather on the dash, leatherique treatment and dye on all the tan leather + fixing all the sticky mess, here are some before/after pictures

I also did an extensive experiment regarding several cleaning/refinishing methods for the sticky interior here:
