it's a small world after all

Several years (5 years?) ago (several years before I bought my ferrari) my wife and I, and our daughter, went to the Irvine Spectrum to see a show that was called "Cavalla", it was a circus-type show that was put on the by the Cirque De Soleil folks, and the stars of the show were horses, not acrobats...anyway, the show was all well and good, but as were we walking from the prole parking lot, through the valet parking, toward the venue, before the show, I saw a car parked near the entrance, that was rather attractive, quite sexy I should say, and I did not recognize it at all at first. I thought it was perhaps a very high end Honda or Acura, a sedan-type car, but unusually sexy (how else can I put it?). As I got closer, I kept thinking this is a really GOOD looking car, and then as I got close enough to read the badges on the car, I saw that it was a Ferrari, and I thought, of course...no Honda looks this good. Looking back on that encounter, I would say it must have been a perfectly preserved Ferrari 400i, or something similar, because, from a distance, in a 3/4 view, it looks like a Honda Civic, or some other regular car, but up close, it's all Ferrari.

Of course at the time I did not know anything about Ferraris, only that Tom Selleck drove a 308 on TV (everyone knows that) but as I walked away from that car, and toward the venue to see the show, I thought: Those folks at Ferrari still know how to make a car that will stop you in your tracks...
