I was talking with a local advanced driving instructor (had "lessons" with him before) this arvo and he told me that he had just come back from competing in Targa Tassie in an Evo VIII (co-driver).

When I mentioned I knew a guy in QLD who competed in a 996TT he asked if his name was Roger?

Turns out that Ben (the instructor) is best friends with scuds co-driver Chris Murphy and was introduced to scud during the event. He was quite happy about the fact you own a Ferrari (or 2).

So scud lets test your memory, do you remember Ben?

No they didn't continue, the Evo was a write-off after the 140kmh crash.

It was his first Targa Tassie, and the fourth for his driver.
