Regardless of the wisecracks, you deserve a lot of respect for running your FF on the track at near top speeds.
Horsepower / torque who cares - electric motors make the difference in the p1. Incredible piece of kit. FF is properly stable at 200mph even with some side winds. True speed through the timing beams yet to be verified but unofficially I know I made 197mph on the external timing beams with 203 showing on the trip meter with a few more revs to go in 6th... Will post some more pics of todays Autovivendi / Vmax200mph.com 'hypermax' meet tomorrow after I'm back from a more sedate trip to Cliveden with a couple of hundred other exotics....
As for the average, a VMAX event is what my ex military friends describe combat as. Lots of sitting around punctuated by moments of extreme terror The fun stay is the available range...
Holy shirt, Mr_Tony!! My hat's off to you, and colour me oh so jealous. I soooo want to do one of these types of events, and think the FF is possibly the most stable car at speed I've ever driven, so think it'd be perfect for this kind of fun. Guessing that the fuel indicator shows you have maybe 11-12 gallons of fuel left, with a range of 92 miles, it thinks you're averaging 7-8 mpg. Not bad actually.
