It's all Dad's now & he loves it!

Alright guys, been quiet for the last week or so because we have been busy playing with the new toy! Decided to keep it low key at the end and surprised him at the house when the entire family "randomly" happened to be there He had absolutely no idea, it was really a great moment. Not just for him or myself but really for the entire family! Really shows you how far hard work can get you!
I had my go pro set up to video his reaction as he came around and saw the car, but murphy's law kicked in and it wouldn't connect so that didn't happen, but here are a couple of photos.
Dinner got cold and him & I spent a couple of hours exploring and admiring the car

We took it out to his shop last weekend and did a few minor things, turned front rotors, made a list of things we'll be working on and looks like we need to replace the passenger side tie rod end so that has been ordered. Need to order the fusebox upgrade so we can work on some other minor things. Overall the car really is in fantastic shape. I spent about 4 hours washing & detailing it today for the firs time since I got it back to Houston. Owning this is intoxicating! Thank you all again for your help during this process. Signed up Dad for a car meet next weekend already, he's really looking forward to it.

I've got him down for the Woodlands Market Street meet on August 2. I'll be in Cali so won't be able to join but you should totally go check it out. Ill be there for the September one. Any other events we can join that you know of?

 

Thanks guys. It was really fun working with it last weekend. Reminded me of just how it was when I was 6-7 years old running around his shop while he worked. I def have a lot to learn on it.
