Better make the most of this opportunity Sebastian! He came so close to not having a decent ride for this season, he'd better step it up to ensure his future.
2008 Toro Rosso lineup: Sebastien and Sebastian 2009 Toro Rosso lineup: Sebastien and Sebastian The more things change, the more they stay the same.
+2 He deserves it. He worked harder than Sato did for the seat and he was getting on the pace by the end of the year. Heck, he's got more experience on slicks than nearly anyone in the field. <grin>
In GP2 the best cars have always been the ART or Isport machines. He was driving for Arden, which haven't been a championship winning team since GP2 was F3000. He's also a Redbull jr. driver, and has been very quick in every series he's been in. He was also the official test driver for RBR the last two years, he's a very known quantity in the Redbull camp.
OK Brian, I think it's quite obvious now that you don't like Bourdais! You were really pulling for your boy Sato to get the seat. What did Bourdais do to you? Did he piss in your cereal?
LoL..u actually made me laugh Anyways, Vettel finished 31 points ahead of him, if i recall. And all season, SeaBass has done nothing much, IMO, to prove he deserve a seat this season, i frankly think that Sato will shine more, based on the fact that he was giving his all in Super Aguri. He's fast, as proven in the tests, and i'm pretty sure he can score solid points in a decent car. He was reckless, remember Spa 2005? But i think Sato grew out of that. That stint at Super Aguri has me convinced that he's motivated that ever to prove he belongs to F1. But then again Jim, i'm willing to give SeaBass a 2nd chance this season, just like Kimi.
Morpheus you are very wise and someone once said "Your spoon does not bend because it is just that, a spoon. Mine bends because there really is no spoon, just my mind. Link yourself to the spoon. Become the spoon and bend yourself." Vettel will be 'bending the spoon' this season I hope!
Best movie ever made. And yes, Vettel will take the red pill this year. Image Unavailable, Please Login

The slicks and new levels of downforce should suit Bourdais' experience in Champcar. here is hoping he can shine this season. Berger was not the type of team manager that inspired confidence in his drivers.
Buemi looks fast right out of the box, which is great. But does he have what it takes to be on Vettel's level? Hard to say at this point, but the law of averages kinda makes me wonder how often we can actually see lightning strike? We got Alonso, Hamilton and Vettel. Which is like the great ol' days with Senna, Prost and Mansell. To have 4 drivers of that same calibre seems unthinkable. Well, time will tell. As for Seabass: I think this is his last season in F1.
