If you’ve been able to enjoy the California weather forecast for the past couple of months, you’d be equally as excited as we are for the weather to be clearing up, and the sun to finally be shinning down once again. The reason for that is quite simple: Vert Weather.

With Spring and Summer making their way, the hidden gems of Winter come out to play. And today it comes in the form of a stunning Ferrari California T, with a few goodies from our friends over at Novitec, and same brand new shoes to make a powerful Spring statement.

Starting things off in the right direction, a set of Novitec Lowering Springs perfectly bring the Cali T down closer to the ground, without compromising ride comfort.

Next up, our friends at Vossen provide the new shoes, a forged set of VPS-306’s, finished in Brushed Light Smoke Finish, a simply gorgeous finish that knocks off all the right points on the check list. The VPS-306’s bring aggressiveness to the table, without forgetting classic design elements, which when combined, give us a well balanced, elegant wheel.

The Novitec N-Tronic ECU Upgrade gives the Cali T plenty of a power bump, bringing the California T to a staggering 646hp (crank), sending this Tourer straight into the supercar realm of power. For the newfound power, Novitec Swtichtronic Valve Control brings a matching soundtrack, enabling the OEM Ferrari Exhaust valves to be controlled by the enduser for a driving experience that is completely to their liking.

    Enjoy the photos!

The Novitec SwitchTronic is a valve controller that works independently from the ECU and the OEM valve system. This enables you to open or close them at your leisure if you’d like.

Here’s a link to it on our store.

Another question: ECU upgrade on our site. It looks like a cable harness and a box that plugs in that overrides ECU? Can you unplug the box and have normal ECU?

Does this have to be installed a auto shop?

So it works in conjunction with the OEM ECU. We recommend having it installed at a local shop and there is a detailed instructional video that can help with the installation.

If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact us! I would be more than happy to go into further detail :)

    Shot you a PM.

For the Cal30, it is a full ECU flash so it is likely that the dealer will not detect it at all. Being that it is a Novitec ECU Upgrade and there was a major issue that can be traced back to the engine control unit (ECU) being modified, then they could deny a claim, however no dealer can outright "VOID" a warranty - it would be the actual claim that they would deny.

Well - If there is a problem with your radio, or your suspension, they can't NOT cover it and claim that your aftermarket ECU upgrade is causing issues - but if you have a check engine light, and they determine that it is due to the calibration on your computer (very rare) then they can said that the repair bill is on you (the customer).

What typically happens is that they dig into it and it ends up being something else (faulty sensor or something known to go bad etc etc etc). Bottom line, they can not just say "your warranty is out the window because you did etc etc etc."

    Hope that makes more sense.
