My vent direction switch has froze up on the 328, froze being the operative word. Since it is stuck closed (no LED lights), no heat gets to yours truly and I do drive the car in the winter with the top off.

Any suggestions on getting this module fixed? I'd like to avoid spending the $800 for a new switch...

Can't you simply pull the switch out and jump it as a temporary fix?

If you're talkin' 'bout the heater control switch in the center console, I recently had the same problem.
I removed the switch (simply pulls out/held to console by spring clips), removed the four(4) small phillips screws which hold the top and bottom part of the switch together, pulled off the top part of the switch and then sprayed the electricals inside with contact cleaner.
Made a huge difference. Worth a try instead of new part purchase.

Crawford, it is cold in Nashville and I thought spring was here. Soon you won't care due to AC. Is that also not working?

I have cleaned the contacts and that didn't fix it...

A/C works fine. I can't wait to start using it!
