FFS. In the 360/430 section there are Fwits worried about washing their cars because they get wet. Numbskulls are offering up their little gems on how THEY do it, including using blue masking tape to cover the engine cover grills etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There are several threads, over time, that go down the same path. Time to pick up whichever hand you use and use it in the time honoured method....
No doubt they wouldn't approve of my washing technique - wash car without opening engine bay, go for a 15km blast which includes a few roundabouts (good for shaking off water) THEN come home and clean inside engine bay! Of course they probably wouldn't approve of camping in a paddock with a 308 either...
So on the subject of car washing... washed Bambi today to discover 'blobs' on the passenger side bonnet that look like clear glue(or it's made the paint blister). Could this be bat poo that's been washed off by the rain so I didn't see it but still caused this? Any remedy?
That's what's ironic - my normal park at the office gets fruit things dropping on the cars (but I see them and they wash off easily) but last week I parked slightly different place to avoid the berries and thought I'd left with a clean car (it was raining heavily)...
