I'm sure things have changed over the years, but many years ago a friend who was in DFAT told me the biggest group of over-stayers and also the slowest to take up nationality were the British; fastest to accept nationality were Filipino (this was mid 90's). Be interesting to see which groups fit those titles today... (my friend retired)

Irony in spades yesterday when went to a Rotary fundraiser in the salad bowl where funds were to go to drought relief ; constant drizzle all morning meant number were half what was expected (only 3 Ferrari, 5 Fiat) but I have to say the Volvo mob did a good turn out - picis about half of them.
