It's suppose to be 80 in NNJ today. Time to go for Colombian coffee & cambrays. She fired right up, ABS/Brake lights went off, AND THE ROOF WENT DOWN LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSE TO! (It hasn't done that in years) . The misfire from last week seems to have gone, the very bad rattle from the exhaust valve is gone. Why the magic: Last fall, mom made me a couple roof elastics & they were installed. Today they worked perfectly. The ABS/BRAKE light came back on later during a coffee run. oh well. Can't have everything No shorts in the wires. Took the two year old wires off the right side, ohm'd out fine. Plugs weren't fouled. So just re-assembled. But the exhaust valve annoyed me again. I have the Porsche diaphragm on it. but the ball joint wore away from the flapper arm mechanism. Took it apart last night & did (a piss-poor job : But then I'm a computer person) of stick-welding the joint to the arm. BUT IT WORKED! Image Unavailable, Please Login
