Carsten, do you know the dimensions of the paper...? This way, i can go buy a frame and once it comes out of the tube, it can go right into the frame...

Does it look complete????..... not broken or damaged....??? I hope it survived the long trip!
The dimensions should be approx. 11,7 x 16,5 inches, but I'm not used to these American inches, so I'm not completely sure......in Europe the dimensions are 29,7 x 42 Centimetres, and that is for sure

When you open the tube, and I really think you should do that, you should just peel of the tape in one end....if possible, and then just pull out the red "plug"......it does not go "BANG" or anything, I promise you!!!
Nothing should happen to the drawing just because you takes it out to have a look at it......I often do that to my drawings... You can just roll it again afterwards and put it back in the tube again until you will have it framed.....go ahead man, open it!!!

 

Remember....this is CARBON were talking about....hes likley to throw up in excitment or...God only knows what else he could do when he has this drawing in hand!!!

i've decided to wait... i know, i know, it's killing me, too... But i've never had an ORIGINAL piece of work from a REAL ARTIST before and i don't want ANYTHING to happen to this... Tomorrow, i'm going to take the tube to the frame shop and go from there... i'll open it there and we'll measure the drawing for a proper frame... If they need to custom-make the frame, i'll bring the drawing back with me (and then take pictures! ) while they make the frame - trust no one! - and once it's done, then i'll bring the drawing back and have them put it in the frame - in front of me, while i watch...!

Thank you SO much, Carsten... i am truly the luckiest person to ever walk the face of the earth...

I beg you to take it out of the tube Carbon, I know you can do it, and I know that you will take care not to let anything happen to it, but after all it's just a piece of paper for Christ's sake! Just relax, and when you have seen the drawing and read the little note on the back of it ....then you can store it in the tube again until you decide to take it out again for framing or for the fireplace....
PLEASE???

 

Okay, i just opened it... i tore through the tape like a little boy on Christmas morning and popped the little red tube cap off... i gently eased the drawings from the tube and when the air in the room hit them, THEY BURST INTO FLAMES, RIGHT IN MY HANDS...!!!



...just kidding...


Carsten, it's so amazingly beautiful...! And the first three lithographs...!!! Thank you so much...!!! The frame i get will be ALL black...!!!

i will take pictures tomorrow - my camera's out in the car and i'm about to go home for the night, anyway... Carsten, you should go to bed, it's late...!!!

I'm very happy you like it, and I always use all black frames for my originals, so I could not have made a better choice for a coloured frame myself!
