Racing starts today with Superbike Race 1 and Sidecar Race 1! Can John McGuiness stay ahead of the younger blokes aiming to take the wins this year? Can Guy Martin win one? Is Ian Hutchinson actually the man to beat? Can't wait to find out!! EDIT: Whoops! Wrong forum, could a mod move this to Other Racing please? I shouldn't post after 2am... TIA!
Just wait! Superbike Race 1 is the first race of the week... they actually get faster through the week leading to the Senior TT next Saturday... as conditions permit, of course.
Are the 2010 TT time trials currently airing on American TV? HDNET channel on my service (ATT U-Verse) began airing the 2009 TT soon after they ran, I think last July. They've been re-running that stuff into the ground ever since!!!! I'm excited to see the new TT events, if I knew where to look, don't see them on the HDNET channel schedule. Greg
I love the TT. Does anyone know if any US tv networks will cover it again this year? Edit: Whoops...didn't see the above post. Jack
I don't know if any American TV outlet is covering it. I'm downloading the UK coverage via a torrent site.
I did the same. The day 1 races and sidecars were great. Scary moment with a little contact on the sidecars! I can only imagine the adrenalne.
Well, for those keeping score the answers to those questions so far are... ***SPOILERS*** No. Not yet. Yes. ***END SPOILERS*** Senior TT tomorrow. Will history be made? Bet on it.
R.I.P Paul Dobbs, 39, from Onewhero, New Zealand. He died as a result of an accident at Ballagarey during the second Supersport race. He leaves a wife and two children.
I just wanted to say the following in regards to the TT-Zero class: ***SPOILERS*** Congrats to MotoCzysz, winning by almost 2 minutes and with a top speed 28mph higher than 2nd place!!! ***END SPOILERS*** TOTAL Bummer about Dobbs, seems there is at least one a year these days
Unfortunately there was another death. Martin Loicht, 48, from Vienna, Austria, was killed during the Supersport 2 race at the TT Races in an incident at Quarry Bends. RIP. http://www.iomtt.com/en/News/2010/06/11/Statement-issued-on-behalf-of-the-ACU.aspx
