I thought I would let you guys see my 350 Z, like I said, it isn't a Ferrari, but I still love the car very much! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great car! My dream car in the 90's was the Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. I was bummed when they quit making it. The new Z's are even faster though, without the turbo's, correct? Mike Sufka St. Cloud, MN
respectable car, beating everything in its price range... More masculine compared to the TT (even the new ones.) Nice car!
My Z is a 2006, not really sure about the power of this one compared to the Twin Turbos. It is still pretty quick though, just ask the Park Ranger that pulled me over about 4 months ago doing 70 on the Colonial Parkway...lol... He was pretty cool about everything, said that he had drove one of the 6 speeds (that's what I have) and they are pretty quick. He still wrote me the ticket though...lol...but still he was pretty cool about everything.
I'm with you on the difference in looks. The convertible just looks to squared off or something, the coupe looks much better!
This is a great video of the guy from Fifth Gear - Tiff - driving the 350 Z. I think it is the base model that he is driving though, but still a great driver in a great car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41GWmcMK7jc
reliable, nice lines... but BY FAR the most uncomfortable sitting position and ride... at least for more.
true.... I would only track one if i could bring myself to consider one... Lines have aged, i wonder how the 370 will look
You're rite about the comfort of the car. The farthest I have taken the car is Nags Head, a beach about 2.5 hours or so away from here. Once we got there, my wife and I had to be rolled out of the car, not a good car to take on a long trip. The look of the car I love wouldn't change to much about it if I had a chance. The inside, I would put one of those lumbar things in the seats for you're back. The speakers and sound system, I think they could have did a lot better with it. There are a few of those plug in things that are in the car, seams like there are too many of them. There is this little slide compartment near where the glove compartment should be that to me is useless. The only thing you can put in there is a card the size of a credit card, God only knows why that was added inside the car.
Always loved the lines on the 350 and IMO it looks the best in black and without that stupid hood hump like on the newer models.
So true, the coupe is miles nicer than the convertible. I am guessing they just wanted to get the convertible out as fast as they could, so chopped it up fast. I actually have seen a couple decent convertibles though.
The plate is my name (Leonard - Len and Jia Jia That's my wife's Chinese name) I tried to fit my son's name on there also, but it would have been to many letters...lol...
I have seen a few also, but it seams that you have to add body kits or striking rims to take away the look of it being a convertible. I might add a few things to it later on, maybe a rear spoiler. The problem with these cars is that if you add something that isn't NISMO then it will effect you're warranty on the car and NISMO parts are very expensive to add.
Okay, you have to add the NISMO exhaust, check out this post, we did a photoshoot y-day and my friends buddy brought his 350z, Basically the same as yours, good choice! and it sounded amazing with NISMO exhaust. Check out some of the pictures: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=208573 Heres a shot I took, same as yours probably unless different interior color, and he has a head unit. Oh, he took a video/sound byte when he was driving in a parking garage of the Nismo exhaust, so whenever he uploads that I will update the photoshoot thread. Image Unavailable, Please Login
