Yep,I watched it when it came out a year or so ago....I wondered if they were attached to a bunch of bookshops or travel agents!!
Of course I'm not threatening you; just pointing out your hosts may not be thrilled by your comments and I'm sure you're aware of those countries' surveillances?
I was just thinking (I know, rare occurrence) but it wasn't that long ago (in the '60s) that women weren't allowed in public bars, men's clubs and a few other places, and prior to that they fought for the vote so maybe when the radical element is eliminated from the equation adoption of our way of life may be easier, or at the very least, accepted, and we can move on . As you and I know, the Greeks and Italians came here in droves, assimilated mostly and have enjoyed a peaceful life and many other nationalities arrived only looking for the life Australia and a few other countries could provide. The radical Muslims arrive and want the country to assimilate to them ...... FO if you have that attitude, they shouldn't be put on a watch list, it should be a boat so all the rest of us (that includes the assimilated Muslims, and there are plenty of them) can live the good life we have here ......... I don't want my daughters treated like the loonies treat theirs
yes, but it'll never happen. They play the victim card and the lefties lap it up and shout everyone down.
Holy crapola was Karen there clapping and hollering? https://www.facebook.com/NBCNews/videos/1674011145952242/
Could this really be true, or is it fake news? https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/jan/24/trump-once-said-women-should-be-punished-for-abortion-t
Real. I lean right on pretty most things except abortion... it should be legal and safe. What the world doesn't need is more unwanted children.
Abortion should not be used for population control. It has been evidenced time and again that birth rates only drop when economic standards improve. Channeling foreign aid to areas that bring no improvement to overall quality of life is a waste of time. Years of spending billions of dollars has done nothing to improve outcomes in most of the developing world. Too much of the money ends up in the wrong places, including employing lots of well intentioned but hopeless people in NGO's. The US taxpayer has been funding NGO's in developing countries to perform abortions, with little or no control over how the money is actually spent and with actual outcomes that are obscured by leftist ideology. What is the sense in continuing something that's broken and diverts funding away from the poorest people in the USA?
International Aid is diverting money from poor people in rich countries to rich people in poor countries.
Got stopped by a bunch of pimply youths today in Rundle Mall handing out pamphlets and asking "March against Trump on Friday?" No prizes for guessing what I said.
it's all amusing isn't it, the left's fatuous self obsession? Reminds me of the "occupy" movement of a decade or so ago, when a bunch of feral hippies camped in financial districts. They have a real problem when they don't get their own way. Lots of media sensation, then it's all quickly forgotten. Meanwhile Fairfax have announced that they'll cease printing daily newspapers in 2017 - we are living through the death throes of mainstream media and they largely did it to themselves, by taking the neo marxist road and leaving the real community behind.
It's very amusing. But also a little weird. The fact that a bunch of 18 year olds here in Adelaide can be so bent out of shape by... umm...democracy on the other side of the planet is both ball-bouncingly funny and disturbing at the same time. I informed them that it was people like them who will ensure Trump is President for eight years instead of four.
I totally disagree with demonstrating against an elected official unless there is proven guilt - I don't actually recall if anyone marched against Nixon? As for Trump, we'll just have to see how his grand plans work out... The reproduction funding overhaul is just sad - for those who haven't read the detail, the U.S. has not for many years provided funding for abortions overseas, what this law does is prevent any ADVICE regarding reproduction options from mentioning abortion ie the social worker in Mexico now, if their clinic receives any funding from the U.S., can't even mention to the girl abortion as an option - choose from keep it or adoption will be the only options; apart of course looking for a second opinion on the street... let's see how that works out...
