Lambie must be fun to work for. Or going with her on shopping trips! Legal stoush between Jacqui Lambie and former chief of staff still under wraps - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
and still people vote Labor... The Australian today: Jailed former NSW Labor minister Eddie Obeid, and former NSW Labor ministers Tony Kelly and Joe Tripodi have been found to have engaged in serious corrupt conduct by the NSW corruption watchdog and could face criminal charges. The report has today cleared Senator Sinodinos, making no adverse findings against him.
This is great,I hope it goes ALL the way. Queensland Nickel collapse: Liquidators apply to freeze Clive Palmer's assets to recover millions - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
We can hope, but it's likely Palmer will have things arranged so there's nothing reachable. Just a crook.
This disgrace crosses party lines- big line up of Labor crooks, but Girolamos is a Liberal fundraiser. Sinodinos wasnt 'cleared', the people bringing the case withdrew his name from the list of accused. As chairman, not sure how he can not have some culpability?

Can anyone see a flaw in this idiot's logic? https://www.broadsheet.com.au/melbourne/city-file/article/handsome-her-and-equal-pay
Nope ................ you might need to read "The Power of One" You have to start somewhere to address problems or you become part of the problem and not the resolution.
And.... Most times when a man and woman go out for a coffee, the woman expects to be paid for anyway..... And usually is
True, but do you think it's fair a woman doing the SAME work as a man gets paid less ? I think these people have pulled a great publicity stunt with the possibility of getting people to change their thinking about this topic. And strangely enough ONE person can make a difference, because one leads to two , then three , until you have a substantial number changing the legislation ... it happens all the time, particularly when someone loses a loved one and they become focused for a particular cause
Jesus H Effing Christ. I just love the excerpt from the UofQ student: "if you identify as male" - FFAAAARRRCCKK!! There is no hope
I think the idea of 'the man pays' largely died out with women having their own money. The only man who has ever paid for my coffee, meals etc was a much older gentlemen who insisted because he felt affronted otherwise. I went along with his choices and balanced things up by slipping cash into his pants pockets in th wash or whatever! So I think this is just an older generation thing. Oh wait! Now I get why you guys think that way! LOL!
