I heard the news and gave him a call this afternoon.

Bushfires some 10 klms away from his joint. So far so good.

Fires about 6 klms now but wind has turned pushing away from his place........the 308's in the garage though ,the neighbours are keeping an eye on things.

That's good,the news is all over Salt Ash in a number of places.

 

It's just been downgraded to under control, so hopefully the Firies will get on top of it before the wind gets back up tomorrow.
Still no reported loss of buildings or injuries which is always a good thing.
