I don't disagree with you. I have been building data centers internationally since 1996. The tonnage of SLA and wet UPS batteries is impressive. Both technologies offer a short service life. New battery technologies in data centers will bring significant change IMHO. Think used EV battery packs as energy storage for data centers. I'm not green, I don't have a car that gets more than 6 Kpl, I am cheap.
