Some truly amazing pics there... the guy who won the portfolio prize must be the luckiest bloke on earth to be at the right place to get that range of pics.

I don't always agree with Joe Hildebrand, however this is one time I do. Very well articulated IMO. Cancelled: ‘You couldn’t make this stuff up’ - news.com.au https://apple.news/AqA5hO_TAR-W497EpUjKXDg
You're a softie Wes, I thought you'd be joining that aboriginal woman in Melbourne who said Australia should "burn to the ground" https://www.news.com.au/national/black-lives-matter-protests-australia-this-weekend-thousands-of-aussies-to-join-protests-across-the-country/news-story/aa5ebfd1d0cccfa7670f7cf9289f97ef
Yes - we need to keep the historical eveidence of what WAS. As they say, he who forgets history is doomed to repeat it (which seems rather apt in this year...)

The world has gone mad, what was acceptable behaviour MANY years ago is now no longer funny ? Youtube is doing "pre-code" clips now which shows, supposedly how the movies were getting out of hand by being suggestive and luckily we live an enlightened time The truth is treating people of colour disrespectfully has NEVER been justified and slapping women around is abhorrent but in the pre-enlightened days these movies were mainstream but I have to say the worst cases of racism I've experienced were in London in the late 80s where the South African bank refused to allow one of my Jamacian engineers in to fix their computer mainframe because he was black (I tore up their contract in person in the middle of the bank foyer !!) and when I worked at DEC there was a massive row between two Chinese guys (whom I respected very highly) over the fact one was from a lower class of people and naturally the supposed lower class person resented ..... funnily enough both men had the same last name , Chiu . One was an operating system support person and the other a network engineer ...... naturally I supported the network engineer, we are NEVER wrong !!
