This is what happens with socialised medicine. The NHS is a prime example of what happens when governments and bureaucrats stick their noses in - a crap system with crap doctors. I found the quality of GP care in London to be abysmal. Medicare is trying to go the same way. Cancer victim, 19, died after pleading in agony to see her doctor (msn.com)
Come on Pat, every doctor makes mistakes and I’m sure msn.com could make a story out of every visit to a doctor... If the girl was so concerned why didn’t she go to a another clinic? Would you really swap our medical system for any other in the world?
It’s not that simple with the NHS system. It doesn’t work like here where you can walk into any GP practice in any suburb, AND incredibly long wait lists for routine tests are the norm
Couldn’t figure out why all the chat about fireplaces so I turned Whom’s ignored posts on.... congratulations on the cut-price fix; shame it didn’t extend to the broken brickwork on the left hand side (post #12466) disguised but still visible by the tacked on bricks (post #12480). Fortunately the marble mantlepiece will disguise what’s going on behind it... until it doesn’t.
